July 30, 2021 update:

Dear Friends --

After a long process of prayerful discernment, the Administrative Commission/Session of First Presbyterian Church of Seattle made the difficult decision to discontinue worship on July 25, 2021.

While there were a number of factors contributing to this decision, not least of all a five-year court battle and the realities of Covid social distancing, we believe God is doing a new thing, just not in the way we initially hoped.

While we grieve the eventual dissolution of the congregation, we welcome the opportunity to live into the legacy of FPCS.
